Generatum Software was named one of the top Russian innovative companies

The 1st EU-Russia Innovation Forum, held in Lappeenranta (Finland) has gathered more than 700 participants, representatives of business and government agencies of various countries.

Within the EU-Russian Innovation Forum the Innovation Competition 2010 was held. Purpose of the competition was to boost internationalization of Russian technology start-ups and innovations. The independent international jury chose the most promising companies and business projects.

29 innovations participated in the competition. By secret ballot 4 companies were named the finalists. The Award Ceremony was held May 25, 2010 in Lappeenranta University of Technology during the main session of the Forum.

Generatum Software Company presented two "all-in-one" innovative mobile applications - Wapalta and Alta Widgets, as well as the unified AltaScript platform for mobile developers.

Among the other finalists were awarded JSC Polyinform (remote diagnostics for metal structures), Active-nano Ltd. (wear resistant solid lubricant mineral coatings for extreme conditions), and the department of Lappeenranta University of Technology, Centre for Separation Technology (Wapulec - pulsed corona discharge for water treatment).

The 1st EU-Russia Innovation Forum was held on the 25 - 27th of May, 2010 in the City of Lappeenranta (Finland). The EU-Russia Innovation Forum gathered European and Russian policy makers, business leaders, innovation experts and researchers, providing an opportunity to help build the future of EU-Russia cooperation in the field of innovation. The Forum was organized by the City of Lappeenranta, Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) and the European-Russian InnoPartnership.
